Hancher Auditorium puts on many great Broadway shows throughout the year. Cambridge Place Apartments is proud to sponsor shows there each and every year. The Hancher building was badly damaged in the flood of 2008, and are expecting a new building around 2015.

Five city bus routes (Plaen View, Westwinds, Westside/Hospital, Westside Loop, and Melrose Express ) which stop at both ends of the building

Located a few blocks from Cambridge Place, Walden Square, contains many business for shopping convenience. This area houses: KUM & GO gas station, Fareway grocery store, Hartig USA Drug Store (with a full-service post office located inside), The Java House, University of Iowa Community Credit Union, Sushi PoPo, Quiznos Subs, as well as some other businesses.

If you like shopping and want to visit a mall, since Cambridge Place is located close to Interstate 380, Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville and Tanger Outlet Mall in Williamsburg are only minutes away.

National Historic Landmark, Amana Colonies, are only about a half hour drive, and are a great place to spend a day visiting. Don't forget to go to the indoor water park, Wasserbahn!!

It is easy to enjoy a round of golf or just spend time on the driving range since Finkbine Golf Course is located directly across the street from Cambridge Place.

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics provide very high quality health care and are only 3/4 of a mile away.

The University of Iowa Hawkeyes have many sports arenas in the immediate vicinity of Cambridge Place Apartments. Carver Hawkeye Arena (basketball), Kinnick Stadium (football), U of I Soccer Complex, Dr. Christine H.B. Grant Field (field hockey), Duane Banks Field (baseball), and Bob Pearl Softball Field are all located within a 10-15 minute walk from our apartment complex.

Three parks are close by, King Park, which has a small baseball diamond located about 3 blocks away; Willow Creek Park, which has playground equipment, youth sports programs, park shelter, and a walking trail located about 4 1/2 blocks away; and a small unnamed park that has playground equipment located about 1/2 block away. There is also another walking trail located next to the U of I Soccer complex which will take you to Coralville.
